Hand-Signed and dated by the Artist. Publisher: Editions Panderma Carl Laszlo. Wybrands Ways of Seeing Wybrand Ganzevoort (°1930), co-founder and participant of G58 - 'Groep 58', with between 1958 and 1962 in the Hessenhuis in Antwerp exhibitions such as Anti-peinture and Vision in Motion and in 1963 in Frankfurt-am-Main together with group Zero the exhibition Europäische Avangarde, shows work from that period, but also what came into being afterwards until now. His work is mainly non-figurative, both geometric and poetic as well as playful. Much of his work is made of wood, of and on paper (handmade or industrial) or cardboard. In the past, he also used materials such as polyester, plaster, ceramics, concrete and metal (wire structures and Corten steel). By folding, cutting, tearing, perforating, stamping, blind embossing, drawing, painting, collage, etc., questions such as 'positive and negative' and 'front and back' are dealt with in a personal and playful way. With modules, designed by himself or not, two- or three-dimensional, geometric or for example with letters and numbers, he explores interesting possibilities of combinations, constructions, structures, puzzles, patterns and configurations, which are sometimes organic. Space, Rhythm, Direction' is an ever-present guiding principle in this. The experiment and the pleasure of discovery always come first.
